"The UAT Test Specialist is an expert in preparing test cases, test scripts and test data. He or she supports the UAT Test Lead in the creation and execution of the User Acceptance Test. The Specialist has strong skills and experience in developing test cases, in the use of HP's Quality Center, and understands how to play a focal role in updating tests, test plans, and defects in the Quality Center database. This individual also has full responsibility for the content and quality of the test cases and plans in Quality Center. Testing Command Center participant is a fast-paced, single focused environment, with this team member being a key player in maintaining coordination and control. Top 3-5 Required Skills: -5-10 years experience -Quality Center software -Test Case preparation -Test Data -Expected Results design Top 3-5 Responsibilities: -Coordination and daily contact with the UAT Team Lead -Defect recording and management of responses and resolution; Creation of testing ""work packages"" or ""workbooks"" for end-user testing -Collection and recording of actual results in Quality Center -Logging and managing questions Top 3-5 Characteristics: -Organized -Thorough -Diligent Education: BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience Testing Certifications also desired.
