Develops, edits, and writes original proposal responses and other-sales related documents. Has a complete understanding of the organizational structure and key buying influences of assigned accounts. Maintains sales and customer contact, providing comprehensive technical product application assistance. Works closely with others in the customer service team in development of proposals.

Responsible for the bidding process from RFQ through clean order handoff.

Responds to sales inquiries and proposal approval requests in a timely manner.

Understands standard pricing and bid strategy.

Understands regulating authorities, code requirements, and other industry-specific factors.

Independently performs basic tasks and functions for professional field of work.

Seeks advice and guidance on nonroutine or problem areas from others. Identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex.

Education BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge Demonstrates a basic knowledge of professional principles and skills. Effectively uses fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular area of specialization.

Experience Typically up to 2 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
