Provides technical and administrative support to project manager(s). Formats documentation, including creation of templates and shell files. Creations Adobe files and CDs as necessary. Uses variety of software tools sufficiently to support all aspects of the project. Responsible for final assembly and quality of printed materials. Assists with logistics for arranging off-site and department meetings. Assists in maintenance of libraries, databases and graphic management logs. Assists with development of general graphic designs to enhance technical documents. Expert knowledge of MS Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. Ability to resolve problems without delay and/or to seek managerial intervention and operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines. Experience Level: BA or BS preferred plus minimum 3+ years of direct relevant experience. Job Description 1) Support and coordinate multiple, language services (Translation and Interpreter Services) projects and tasks under the direction of Language Access Leader. 2) Work in conjunction with the Language Access Leader to prepare/generate Language Services reports, financials and perform quarterly updates to the Language Services Dashboard. Work with multiple Translation and Interpreter Services Vendors to receive and review Language Services reported data and distribute it to key internal stakeholders. 3) Prepare and generate monthly Cultural and Linguistic Quick Tips and Best Practices content for Medical Center distribution. 4) Engage in other project-related tasks and follow-ups as needed and liaison with KP stakeholders and clients to clarify project parameters, scope and/or respond to questions. 5) Plan agenda, logistics and food for meetings. Prepare and maintain meeting schedules, record and document meeting minutes and send to clients. 6) Demonstrate Compliance with relevant and applicable KP operational procedures. 7) Check the department inboxes regularly for enquiries. Respond to new translation requests or any other enquiries, examine submitted information related to Translation requests to assess completeness and respond to requesters. 8) Support file updates and uploads to internal Language Access wiki pages/website. Essential skills: * Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, prior language services experience is highly preferred * Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills and time management. Detail orientation with the ability to multitask * Independence in carrying out assigned tasks * Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Highly-developed computer skills (MS Office, Windows). Advanced analytical skills is a plus Education: High School diploma required Preferred Education: BA or BS preferred Required Experience: * Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in a similar position or project management in corporate environment is required. Experience working in Language Services domain is highly preferred.
