- Performs all tasks directly involved in preparation for production, taking account of the order situation, production capacities, stock levels, production- and delivery backlogs, procurement situations, personnel resources, cycle times, material delivery times, in order to create the conditions for an optimum production sequence.* Assists in the order setup and creation of necessary documentation and data, in order to guarantee effective and high-quality handling of the work.* Calls up materials, including stock and job-specific, in order to ensure an on-schedule start of the order regarding material supply. * Monitors production sequences, to facilitate optimum use of resources.* Records and monitors workflow, in order to map the current production status in the system.* Assists in coordinating material movements between production units, to ensure an optimum production run.* Actively communicate and coordinate across management, engineering, procurement, production, test, and other personnel for gathering and sharing of data as necessary for the work. * Report to internal stakeholders and customers on schedule status and updates.* Completes day-to-day tasks, of different kinds.* Schedule appointments and meetings, and write respective minutes.* Answer, screen, and place phone calls, and manage in- and outbound correspondence. * Monitor all information flow, including maintaining paper and electronic files.* Prepare presentations, reports, statistical charts and briefings. * Evaluate and select solutions from among choices based upon defined procedures and practices, to address changing work situations promptly and appropriately. Other duties as may be assigned.
- Minimum 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience. * Minimum 2 years experience in Production Scheduling or related area for industrial manufacturing company. Prior experience in Oil & Gas industry is beneficial. * Knowledge of standardized work routines and methods, typical business communication protocols, general business facts and information is required. * Proficiency with the following software tools is required: Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook). * Proficiency with standard office environment software products is necessary (such as, but not limited to Windows Explorer, Internet browsers). * Experience with MS Project software is beneficial.
