This role will lead and participate in the performing of telephonic intake and outreach to Cigna Medical Group (CMG) patients and will assist in coordinating clinical care needs for patients as they relate to strategic Marketing and Performance Quality initiatives. This role contributes to the organizations drive to improve the individuals experience of care; improve the quality of health, and works to reduce the cost of care across the population served.
Receive intake telephonic calls from patient engagement initiatives driven by Marketing to increase patient satisfaction and clarification through centralized point of contact Follow guidance of Patient Relationship Technician Lead on telephonic intake and outreach for patient engagement on strategic priorities Utilize available information through designated resources for maximization of patient care in a comprehensive view Provide clear and all-inclusive documentation of all outreach attempts and conversations to completion in the appropriate designated area provided through CMG Communicate using exceptional customer service skills with patients and matrix partners Partner as necessary with CMG departments and centers to insure the best possible outcome for the patient while they are available Maintain knowledge of CMG payor relationships, resources, centers, benefits, and available programs for successful patient navigation through the healthcare journey Knowledgeable about payor education programs, clinical guidelines, services, and contractual guidelines Responsible for following CMG procedures, practices, policies, and guidelines to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of patients Patient information is constantly maintained in a private and secure manner, complying with HIPAA Guidelines at all time
