Management of project accounts, enabling effective cost control, and ensuring the provision of key management information to the project team. Performs accounting activities including account reconciliation and preparation of journal entries. Prepares and maintains ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports. Maintains and processes all accounts and entries in accordance with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines and any other applicable standards.
Analysis - Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual as well as ad hoc analysis of the P&L, Balance Sheet and cash flow to support decision making in the business.
Reporting - Preparation of financial and other key business metrics at the highest quality in line with given timelines.
Forecast - Monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts are prepared capturing all future business developments.
Month-end process - a key contributor in the month-end process ensuring the month-end results are completed in a timely manner of the highest quality in line with accounting guidelines.
Qualifications, Experience & Technical Know-How Essential:
- Relevant experience in a project based industry
- Good working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office desirable
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work independently
- Expert in use of MS applications, in particular Excel
Experience and Education Requirements:
We are looking for someone who is fairly new in starting their career, has some analytical or AP experience. Some SAP experience is preferred but definitely not essential. Possibly has undertaken a finance / business admin degree, but GED/HS diploma is required at a minimum.
