In the Cigna Commercial Coverage Review Department we facilitate coverage for medications when prescribed but not on the customers drug list or the medication requires certain criteria to be met before they can be covered on a customers plan.

We are looking for professionals who can accommodate part of the tasks required to complete these reviews efficiently and accurately.

Primary Responsibilities

Inbound status calls

Our skilled professionals respond to incoming status contacts from our service partners. Our representatives provide the status of the request; in progress, approved or not approved, and may be requested to read the determination letter to provide the details about why the decision was made.

Administrative procedures

Our skilled administrative experts will be the initial touchpoint for our incoming electronic faxed requests. Our sorter manages the incoming electronic faxes in our coverage determination application to prepare coverage determinations for processing. This includes manipulating, labeling or routing the file to the appropriate department.

Process the final electronic notification of the decision in the coverage determination application. Prepare physical documents for delivery by mail
