Supports one or more mid to senior-level managers. Works in a diverse and more complex environment; and includes some customer and executive contact. Performs more complex administrative activities including managing projects, composing letters and reports, preparing/editing presentations, and recommending or making purchase decisions. Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. Duties may include more complex administrative activities: managing projects, managing budget and payroll, composing letters and reports, developing newsletters, preparing presentations, recommending or making purchase decisions. Has intermediate to advanced computer skills including: word processing, spreadsheet, and basic presentation or database applications; and may train others. Under direct supervision, provides clerical support to the department; diverse duties requiring knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Clerical duties may be assigned in accordance with the office procedures of individual departments and may include a combination of answering telephones, performing accounts receivable adjustments, typing or word processing, office supply ordering, office equipment operations, research, and filin e primary job duties this position is responsible for achieving are listed in order of importance. * Provides support for collection activities by sorting and preparing all incoming documents for scanning and/or filing. * Performs data gathering functions including verifying demographic information against internal and external system resources, and verifying eligibility (KP and or other entities), etc. * Provides support to Collectors by requesting letters on designated collection accounts. 100% * Processes revenue reversals and write offs for all units within the department including external collection agencies. * Ensures that accounts have the current payer information. * Prints demand bills and claims as requested by the Collectors. * Inputs payment information into the live check database. Updates demographic information on accounts. * Performs customer service as required. 0% * Works designated HealthConnect work queues as assigned. * Prepares data report summaries and department logs/records. * Compiles department statistics and prepares reports and charts. * Performs other duties as assigned including but not limited to special projects. * Note: Internal PFS candidates may have job advancement opportunities via the PFS Career Ladder, and should consult with their supervisor and/or manager. Top Daily Responsibilities: Scanning, printing, preparing back up documentation to be mailed out with refund checks, fixing columns on Excel spreadsheet, and have excellent customer service skills Top (3) Required Skills Candidate Should Have: Multi-tasker as working with various people in the department, detail and compliance oriented, works quickly and accurately. Must know how to work with Excel spreadsheets. Must have people skills Additional Skills Preferred (Not Required): Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
